We are now AA Covid Confident – Our cleanliness promise

As soon as we were aware of the risks of COVID-19, our team at Pringle Farm sprung into action to ensure that we implement all the necessary safety procedures. In addition to creating a robust risk assessment, we carried out training for our staff and put additional cleaning measures in place. These precautions mean that we have now been awarded with ‘AA Covid Confident’ certification, reassuring our guests they are in safe hands.

Although we were pleased to welcome key workers during the lockdown period, Pringle Farm has been open to all guests since the 4th July. There has already been a significant increase in our bookings for various times in the next year, so we have taken every precaution to ensure all these guests are safe.

The scheme ‘AA Covid Confident’ is a way of measuring and awarding business’s robust risk assessments, ultimately to give guests peace of mind.

To be eligible for the scheme, we must have met the AA’s key COVID-specific criteria consisting of:

• Supplying evidence of a completed risk assessment document.
• Providing clear evidence that relevant safety procedures and measures are in place.
• Showing that staff training has occurred.

In addition, we have completed an online self-assessment and signed up to the Covid Confident Charter, a code of conduct that will include a commitment to update procedures and measures as guidelines change, and to submitting to future audits as required.

We are confident with our procedures and therefore offer transparency around them. For this reason, we are supplying cleaning checklists for all of our rooms, filled out by our cleaning team to reassure our guests that our rooms are completely sanitized.

It is great to see the hospitality industry recovering from this pandemic and people’s love of travel has remained strong.
