Cambridge Music in the Parks

The Cambridge Music in the Parks series has returned to the city for another summer of open air concerts in 2022.  Visitors to the city can enjoy a diverse programme of music, from brass bands to the Cambridge Rock Choir.

These music events, which are free of charge, are presented in association with the Cambridge Jazz Festival and organised by Cambridge City Council.  Taking place on Sundays throughout the summer, they are the perfect way to end a sunny weekend, with a blanket, a picnic and some live entertainment in one of Cambridge’s parks.  With some of the best green spaces of any UK city, including riverside parks, grassy commons and cool meadows, what better way to enjoy them than with the accompaniment of live music.

The concerts will run from 3pm til 5pm in several locations:

Sunday 17th July

Performances from CSD Brass

Location:  Dudley Road Recreation Ground

Sunday 7th August

Performances from the Cambridge Rock Choir plus support

Location:  Chesterton Recreation Ground

Sunday 21st August

Performances from Waterbeach Brass

Location:  Kings Hedges Recreation Ground

Sunday 18th September

Cambridge Jazz Festival presents Cubafrobeat and the Cambridge Youth Jazz Orchestra

Location:  Jesus Green

Sunday 25th September

Performances from the City of Cambridge Brass Band in association with Graduate Cambridge

Location:  Graduate Cambridge Hotel Garden (Only food and drink purchased at the venue may be consumed at this event)
