Drive Through Cinema at Huntingdon Racecourse

With many of us craving a source of entertainment but balancing this with a concern of keeping a distance during the COVID-19 pandemic, Huntingdon Racecourse are hosting a genius solution. The company ‘Adventure Drive-In’ are the organisers behind this event, showing a variety of films in this socially distant way.

These are much loved events even before the lockdown, imitating the 50s atmosphere. Even though cinemas are due to open from the 4th July, this is a truly unique event that still gives you the freedom of taking your own refreshments and speaking to the people in your car.

Adventure Drive-In events take place all across the UK but Pringle Farm is grateful to be in close proximity to, not only one, but two locations of Huntingdon Racecourse and Peterborough Arena. Ordinarily there are also a vast amount of events on offer at these venues, which provide fantastic entertainment for our guests. 

The various entertainment on show will be available at Huntingdon on August the 13th and 14th over different time slots. Movies being played include 80s classics including Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Labyrinth, The Goonies and The Blues Brothers. Family favourites such as Grease, The Lion King, Cool Runnings and The Greatest Showman will also be on offer at the drive-in cinema.

As well as being able to bring your own snacks, on-site toilets will be available. Unlike most cinemas, this drive-in alternative also features personal speakers and a light show!
