Duxford Battle of Britain 80th Anniversary Special Weekend

To commemorate the Battle of Britain and remember the men, women and aircraft involved in the summer of 1940, IWM Duxford are hosting a special three-day event from Friday 18th September. This event has been thoughtfully extended over three days to allow as many visitors as possible whilst ensuring social distancing.

Whilst Duxford – only 31 miles away from Pringle Farm – is home to a number of fascinating events, this weekend is a key date in their diary and accompanied by thrilling shows for visitors.

The new Duxford Battle of Britain Proms on Friday 18 September will start with Air Show commemorations, filled with flying and entertainment, climaxing with sunset flypasts and an evening filled with music. Following on Saturday and Sunday will be the spectacular Spitfire flypast, accompanied by entertainment from bands, dancing and living history groups. You are also able to get up close to the historic aircraft with the ‘Flightline Experience’.
