Nestled in he Cambridgeshire landscape and less than 20 minutes away from Pringle Farm, Elton Hall is a grand home from the 15th century where every room is filled with character – antique furniture, porcelain and a fine collection of paintings. The library includes one of the most important collections in private hands, including Henry VIII’s prayer book.  

The formal gardens have been lovingly restored over the past 30 years and include a flower garden, sunken garden, topiary and a Gothic Orangery built to celebrate the Millenium, now hosting weddings throughout the year. Guided tours of the house are available, except on Bank Holidays when visiting is free-flow.  The gardens may be enjoyed at leisure.

This Grade I listed building is placed in 3,800 acres of estate countryside with an abundance of history after being owned by the Proby family since the 1600s – a former Lord Mayor of London. Located near Peterborough, a visit to Elton Hall can be tied in with exploring the leisure and shopping facilities this area has to offer.
