Valentine’s Day in Cambridge

Six Brasserie is a perfect romantic date spot on the top floor of the Varsity Hotel.  With great food and stunning views across the river and many of Cambridge’s most famous colleges it’s a gorgeous spot to watch the sun go down over dinner.  For the steak lovers, River Bar Steakhouse is the place to book.  Also part of the Varsity Hotel, this restaurant is on the Quayside overlooking the river Cam – ideally placed for a romantic after-dinner stroll.

The Gonville’s ever changing garden restaurant is the perfect al fresco dining experience with heaters, blankets and gracious hospitality from the staff.  The seasonally decorated marquee and live jazz (Fridays and Saturdays only) make this a wonderful dinner spot.

For more of a relaxed dining experience and some of the best cocktails Cambridge has to offer, head to Novi.  In the winter months the roof terrace becomes a cosy, candlelit tepee den – a great place for a late night tipple.
